Holiday Clubs
To bridge Sundays and schools work we hold events at our centre on Mareham Lane. Our events are at varying times throughout the year. All our volunteers have been processed through the current 'police check' system. Our main event is in the summer holidays when we hold a summer club open to all primary aged children. Hosted by about 30 volunteers from our church members, we include all the favourite items within a chosen story theme.
Games, crafts, DVD, quizzes, puppets and action songs. This usually runs during the first full week of the holidays and is jam packed with fun and learning about the bible in a child friendly way. Team leaders and anyone who else gets in the way, go head to head in the gunge challenge. The loser goes into the gunge plunge. As well as covering people with some serious all over body slime our events very often let loose Custard pies! Needless to say events can get messy very messy! Our summer event culminates with 'Friday nite live' when we have a guest in to round off the week with some excellent family entertainment. This has proved a popular family evening when the parents get to find out what the kids have been up to all week and the winning team get their prizes. We also hold one-day clubs, Christmas craft activities, and puppet workshops and in 2006 we hosted Joseph and the amazing Technicolor dream coat musical performed by puppetpower, a large Christian puppet team from Grimsby.  |

Assemblies
Assemblies have multi-media, full on, child friendly, interactive songs where the children can participate and get involved (in their school act of worship.) We focus on one main point to convey to the children. We also aim to bring the message that the children are very important and special to God. Infact we believe God thinks children are incredible and amazing.
Further opportunities to take the good news of God's love to children are occurring more and more through after school clubs and puppet workshops.
Currently we have the privilege of serving 5 schools. We assist them with their formal act of Christian Worship. We have a 20 minute programme which includes stories, puppets or drama, plus some fun songs and a prayer or two interested? Contact Us

New Life Kidz
Our Children's Ministry is not only on a Sunday but is happening throughout the week in schools and the local community.
At Sleaford New Life Ministries we believe that all children are special to God. Our aim is that every child should: 1. Know that God loves them.
2. Experience love and be prayed for.
3. Know that God has a plan for their life.
4. Have an opportunity to make Jesus their Lord and Saviour. On Sundays, New Life Kidz is held during the main Sunday morning service (10:30 - 12:00). It is for primary school aged children. Using the two conference rooms in the New Life centre. Four teams on a once a month rota system show the children how we can apply the bible to our everyday lives through - stories, kids praise and worship, games, craft and activities. 
Chill Zone
If you want somewhere to go while the adults are talking and having coffee after the sunday morning service we have introduced the chill zone for kids. Here you can play and spend time with your friends while your guardians talk and have tea and coffee. |

Acorns
For those not yet at school we have Acorns, which meet, in the New Life Preschool area. Four teams share the care throughout each month. The carers play, pray, read stories and dance with our smallest church people.
Also N.L. Kidz happens on Sunday mornings with an exciting programme planned throughout the year. Led, like Acorns, with four different teams taking their turn each month. The hour session is usually action packed with funky praise songs, complete with air guitars, saxophones and flags. There is bible teaching through drama, puppets, multi media and story telling. We also do games, crafts and activities to support the theme. |

When
Each Sunday morning during our main Sunday service from 10:30 till 12 ~ Where
New Life Church Ministries Conference Centre, Mareham Lane, Sleaford. However, New Life Kidz is not just confined to the church centre. Each week, during term time, the 'Assemblies Team' take to the road. They travel to a number of local schools in the town and area. 2006 sees our 3rd year of taking primary school assemblies. We visit most schools once a term, which is about 6 times a year. The Christian act of worship led by our team includes a lively praise song and a bible story or sketch relating to a particular theme. The school may have requested a theme or prayer and we work to this also.
